Portugal in depth
Lisbon, Nazare and Alcobaca, Coimbra University, Porto, and the walled town of Belmonte.
About This Journey
A slower, fuller Portugal that goes well beyond Lisbon and Porto. The route takes in the Templar town of Tomar, the Atlantic fishing town of Nazare, the monastery at Alcobaca, the historic university at Coimbra, and the inland towns of Viseu, Belmonte, and Evora.
Three nights in Lisbon open the trip and two in Porto anchor the north, with single nights inland as the route loops south again. Hotels are four-star, transfers run by luxury coach, and daily breakfast is included.
