About This Journey
Three central European capitals with two nights in each, so every city gets a touring day and an evening rather than a rushed afternoon. Budapest brings the Danube panorama and the thermal bath houses, Vienna the imperial palaces and coffee houses, and Prague its castle district and old town square.
Intercity legs run by luxury coach, hotels are four-star, and each capital includes a guided city tour. Airport transfers at both ends are arranged.
Day by Day
Budapest arrival
Arrive in Budapest and transfer to your hotel. The evening is free, with the lit Chain Bridge and riverfront within walking distance of the centre.
Budapest city tour
Guided tour across both halves of the city, covering Buda Castle hill, the Fishermen's Bastion, Matthias Church, and the Parliament facade from the Pest embankment. The afternoon leaves room for the Szechenyi thermal baths.
Budapest to Vienna
Travel by coach to Vienna and check in, with the evening free around the old centre.
Vienna city tour
Guided tour taking in the Ringstrasse, the State Opera, St Stephen's Cathedral, and the Hofburg quarter, with time left for the museum district or a coffee house afternoon.
Vienna to Prague
Continue north by coach to Prague and check in, with the evening open in the Old Town.
Prague city tour
Guided tour of Prague Castle and St Vitus Cathedral, across the Charles Bridge, and into the Old Town Square for the astronomical clock and the Jewish quarter.
Prague departure
Breakfast and checkout, then an airport transfer for your homebound flight.
