Montenegro from Budva

A single-base holiday on the Montenegrin coast, with four nights in Budva and one big excursion day inland. Two free days sit either side of it, so the trip works as much for beach time as for sightseeing.

The full-day northern excursion runs along the Bay of Kotor, stops at the baroque town of Perast and the viewpoint over Our Lady of the Rocks, then climbs through the mountains to Durmitor National Park, the Tara River Canyon and its bridge, the mountain town of Zabljak, and Black Lake, finishing at the Ostrog Monastery built into a vertical cliff face.
