Day 1

Chennai to Pondicherry via Mahabalipuram

Upon arrival at Chennai Airport, transfer to Pondicherry with a stop at Mahabalipuram. Explore Mahabalipuram's UNESCO-listed Shore Temple and intricate rock-cut carvings and temples. Post Lunch continue to Pondicherry. Upon arrival check in at the hotel. In the evening, take a stroll through the charming French Town. Overnight stay in Pondicherry.

Day 2

Pondicherry & Auroville

Today morning after breakfast, embark on a guided tour of Pondicherry and Auroville. In the afternoon, visit Sri Aurobindo Ashram, Pondicherry Museum, Botanical Garden, and iconic churches. The Evening is at leisure, to explore the town and the local markets at your own pace. Overnight stay in Pondicherry.

Day 3

Pondicherry to Kumbakonam via Chidambaram

Today morning after breakfast, check-out and proceed to Kumbakonam. Enroute visit Cuddalore and Chidambaram. Upon arrival at Kumbakonam check in to the hotel. Rest of the evening is at leisure. Overnight stay in Kumbakonam.

Day 4

Kumbakonam & Darasuram

Today post breakfast, proceed to Gangaikonda Cholapuram and Darasuram temples. Post lunch explore the local markets and the town at your own pace. Return to the hotel in the evening. Overnight stay in Kumbakonam.

Day 5

Thanjavur to Chettinad

Today after breakfast, check out and proceed to Chettinad. Enroute, visit, Tanjore town. Visit the spectacular Tanjore Temple. Post lunch head towards Chettinad. Upon arrival check in at the hotel, relax and unwind from the travel. Overnight stay in Chettinad.

Day 6

Chettinad

After breakfast this morning, set out for local sightseeing in Chettinad. Visit Raja’s Palace, historic Chettiar Mansions, Athangudi village for its hand-made tiles, a handloom saree weaving house, Chettiar Clan temples, local markets, and enjoy a bullock cart ride or cycle tour. Return to the hotel by evening, attend a cooking demonstration of Chettinad cuisine, and indulge in the flavors for dinner. Overnight stay in Chettinad.

Day 7

Chettinad to Madurai

This morning, after breakfast check out and proceed to Madurai. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and relax. The day is at leisure to explore the town at your own pace. In the evening, visit the Meenakshi Temple to witness the captivating night ceremony. Overnight stay in Madurai.

Day 8

Madurai

Today morning have a leisurely breakfast at the hotel. Later check out and head towards Madurai Airport to board your flight to your onwards destination.
