Neeleshwar

Upon arrival at Kannur Airport, you will be welcomed and driven to Neeleshwar. Check-in to your tranquil hideaway set amid coconut groves and the gentle rhythm of the Arabian Sea. This evening, witness your first Theyyam in the Neeleshwar region, an intimate encounter with Kerala’s oldest ritual art. Return to the retreat for a relaxed dinner. Overnight in Neeleshwar.

Neeleshwar

Rise early for a powerful Theyyam ceremony at one of Neeleshwar’s historic tharavadu temples, where myth, devotion, and dance merge at daybreak. Later head for a village walk, offering temple visits, traditional farming, areca-nut harvesting, backwater life, a river ferry ride, and fresh toddy tasting. In the evening, attend a second Theyyam, each performance offering a unique visual and spiritual narrative. Overnight in Neeleshwar.

Wayanad

Drive towards the coastline of Bekal. Check in to a luxurious beachfront resort. This evening, venture into the Kanhangad region, just 20–25 minutes away to witness a dramatic Theyyam performance. The fiery colours, rhythmic drums, and living legends create an unforgettable atmosphere. Overnight in Bekal.

Bekal

Enjoy a relaxed morning, experience an indulgent spa ritual, walk along the beach, later visit the imposing Bekal Fort. Later, head to the Cheruvathur region, also 20–25 minutes from Bekal, to witness yet another Theyyam form each temple presenting its own tradition, story, and spiritual depth.
