Hornbill Festival itinerary

Day 1

Dimapur

Upon arrival at the Guwahati International airport, get transferred to Dimapur. Check-in to your hotel and relax for a while. In the evening visit the famous Kachari Ruins. Overnight stay in Dimapur.

Day 2

Kohima

Today morning post breakfast head towards the Kisama Heritage village to participate in the Hornbill Festival. Experience the myriad cultural extravaganza. Evening is at leisure to explore the local markets of the town at your own pace. Overnight stay in Kohima.

Day 3

Kohima

Post breakfast head back to Kisama Heritage village to join the ongoing Hornbill Festival. Explore Food Stalls, Herbal Medicine Stalls, Flower shows, Cultural Medley, Indigenous Games, and Musical concerts. Overnight stay in Kohima.

Day 4

Khonoma

Today post breakfast drive towards the beautiful Khonoma village situated 20kms away from Kohima. This one-of-a-kind green village of India is home of the Angami tribe, who practice agriculture to make a living. Explore the village at your own pace. Head back to Kohima in the evening. Overnight stay in Kohima.

Day 5

Kaziranga

Today post breakfast head towards Kaziranga National Park. Upon arrival check-in to the lodge and relax. In the evening enjoy a cultural performance at the Kaziranga Orchid park. Overnight stay at Kaziranga.

Day 6

Guwahati

Today early morning embark on a thrilling jeep safari in the Kaziranga National Park. Spot the famous One-horned Rhinoceros and other species of flora and fauna. Head back to the lodge for breakfast. Post breakfast check-out from the lodge and drive toward Guwahati Airport to board your departure flight.
